Apartment
Élysée – Paris
Set on Avenue Percier in Paris’s distinguished 8th arrondissement, this pied-à-terre was conceived as a welcoming retreat for a prominent collector’s guests. The apartment, once poorly planned and in need of complete renovation, was entirely reconfigured to create a generous one-bedroom suite organised around flexibility, comfort and a strong sense of atmosphere.
The design draws deeply from the client’s personal world - his home in Provence, his passion for African art and his lifelong collecting. Ochres, sun-warmed neutrals and richly textured natural materials establish a palette that feels both transportive and timeless. Bespoke joinery, artisan-crafted elements and carefully curated artworks and books create layered interiors that balance intimacy with practicality. Conceived almost as a private hotel suite, the apartment offers a softened reflection of the client’s identity, designed to feel warm, joyful and effortlessly lived in.
