When our clients purchased this 104 sq m flat in Ladbroke Grove, it had been stripped of all architectural character and the existing layout did not support the needs of a family of five.

HZI were brought on board to completely reimagine the three-bedroom first-floor flat - focusing on smart space planning, bespoke storage solutions, and custom joinery to create a home that is both highly functional and effortlessly comfortable.

The brief called for a fresh, contemporary aesthetic, layered with texture and an eclectic mix of furniture, art, and objects. Tonally, the aim was to keep the palette calm and cohesive, allowing each room to flow seamlessly into the next. Stylistically, the project sits within a ‘modernist contemporary’ style - a contemporary approach deeply rooted in the principles of modernism.
